McGuinness and Bal Bahadur left C3 at 2:45 am, Kowpak and Dawa Gyaljen left at 12:30 am. Straightforward climb. They spent between one and two hours on the summit, then descended to C3, where they arrived at 3 pm. Kowpak and Dawa Gyalzen descended to ABC on 27 May. McGuinness stayed at C3 for another night (he was looking for Irvine but did not find him).
McGuinness descended to ABC on 28 May, they left BC on 30 May.
