The two-member Indian expedition from Kolkata (Bhattacharya and Ghosh) left C4 at 9 pm of 20 May along with two climbing Sherpas (Phurba and Karma) for summit. The Kolkata team reached summit at 10:20 am on 21 May, stayed on summit for about an hour, then descended to C4 at 3:30 pm and spent the night there. Next day 22 May the team slept at C2 and the following day 23 May went down to BC. Summit day weather, clear sky no wind.
