Four members of women's team and four Sherpas left C4 at 1 am on 31 May in snowfall which stopped at about 4 am below the summit. The team got to the top at 5:00 am. They stayed on summit for about 5 minutes, it was windy.

While descending about 30 minutes, the fresh snow below summit broke which swept all climbers about 125 meters down. Tendi, the climbing guide said that all were in a panic. Fortunately, nobody was hurt and it took them about an hour to regroup and they safely went down to C2 around 5 pm and spent the night there. Next day all descended to BC.
