Hidalgo left C2 at 9:30 am. It was very windy and clear. Nobody was going up, however, people were coming down from the summit. He climbed for about 1 hour 30 minutes until he reached 8000m. He did not feel confident in himself that day and as it was also very windy, he decided to turn around. He descended to C2 in about 45 minutes. He spent another night at C2 and on 26th May he descended to ABC.

Hidalgo did not have any Sherpas or oxygen.
