Hamor and Colibasanu left C4 together on 21 May at 5:00 am and summited at 1:00 pm. They returned to C4 at 6:05 pm.

They were in C3 on the 22nd after having stopped to help the distressed Swiss climber, Ms. Joelle Brupbacher, down from 7700m. On the 23rd they were back in BC.

Hamor does not know exactly who will join him on Makalu; he brings all necessary ropes and hardware for mountain and his own gear and food while others bring their own food and gear. "I am ready to go alone if no others turn up but if they do, I am willing to climb with them."

Jackovic and Pustelnik did not go to Makalu from Pumori.
