C1 was used by this Lhotse team only when the weather was too hot for them to go all the way to C2 on the same day.

Two members, Jones and Smaller, had already left the expedition when the summit party set out from from their C4 to go to the top on 26 May at 1:00 am. Ballinger, Bierling, McKinley, Wang and Zhang with Sherpas Lhakpa Nuru, Phurba Tashi and Tashi Tshering summited at 4:45 am and descended to C2 at 9 am. They were back in BC on the 27th. This was Tashi Tshering's second ascent this month after having fixed rope to the top.

Three Sherpas of the team's had already summited Lhotse on 19 May between 2:12 and 2:28 pm. They were Nima Tshering, Rita Dorje and Tashi Tshering, who went in advance to fix rope to the top with one Sherpa from the IMG Lhotse team and then descended to BC.

Non-summiting members:

Jones left team on 14 May; he had no more motivation to climb the mountain.

Smaller left on 15 May; she also had no more motivation to scale the mountain.

Tait summited Everest and made no attempt to reach the summit of Lhotse.

Oxygen was used by summit party members from C3 to the top to C2 and by their Sherpas from C2 to the summit to C2.

Chris Jones did not get higher than base camp. He went on the acclimatization trip to Lobuche East and then quit. Sissel Smaller got to the bottom of the Lhotse Face, so I guess around 6500m.

Brian Warren's highest point was C3. During our summit push he quit at the bottom of the Lhotse Face due to problems with his eye. He had had problems with his eye for a few days and he thinks it was from one very windy day, when it got infected.
