Nowak and Nuru left C3 at 9:45 pm on 20 May for the summit. They reached summit at 5:45 am on 21 May. They stayed on summit for one hour then returned to C3 where they arrived at 10:30 am. They continued to C2 and spent night there; next day 22nd May they went down to ABC.

Nowak wrote in his email that when they reached the summit there was already a Chinese team and after Nowak there were more or less 40-50 climbers who reached the summit.
