Gheichisaz started his summit push at 6 pm of 19 May from C4. He got to the top at 6 am of 20 May. Gheichisaz stayed on summit for about 20-30 minutes, then descended to C4 where he arrived at 3 pm and spent the night there. Next day on 21st May descended to BC. On the summit with him were Mingma Sherpa, Yang from China, one from Azerbaijan and Sherpas. On his way down many other climbers were coming up. The weather was very good, no wind clear sky. The Indian side of the mountain was cloudy.

According to Gheichisaz four climbers did not use oxygen: himself, Alex, Nicolas and Mario.
