This large expedition made just one summit bid. On 12 May the summit party of 9 members and 10 Sherpas left C4 for the top at 7:45 pm. They were Armesto, Carvallo, Dellis, Farebrother, Miranda, Pappas, Ross, Setian and Sinivaara, plus Sherpas Ang Namgyal, Dawa Tshering, another Dawa Tshering, Jangbu, Mingmar, Namgya Tshering, Palden Namgye, Phu Tashi, Sonam Finjo, and Urken Lendu.

But not everybody was able to summit; the dropouts were:

Ms. Laura Ross was too tired to go beyond 8200m and turned back to C4 that day and down to C2 on the 13th.

Ms. Kathy Setian suffered from the effects of an overdose of Diamox and also turned back at 8200m to C4 on the 12th.

Mingmar and Ang Namgya turned back with them.

Armesto stopped at the bottom of the Hillary Step because of stomach trouble and retreated (no Sherpa went back with him).

Ms Georgina Miranda gave up just below the Balcony at about 8400m and descended to C2 with the successful summiters; she also had stomach trouble.

Dellis suffered from very cold hands by the time he reached the bottom of the Hillary Step and abandoned his summit bid (Phu Tashi turned back with Dellis).

That left four successful members with six Sherpas. Carvallo, Farebrother, Pappas and Sinivaara summited between 4:30 am and 6:30 am on 2 May and all descended t C2 the same day. The Sherpa summiters were both Dawa Tsherings, Namgyal Tshering, Palden Namgye, Sonam Pinzo and Urken Lendu, who also went down to C2 that day. All were back in BC on the 24th.

The team consumed 87 bottles of oxygen. Members on oxygen from C3 to their high points to wherever their individual supplies ran out just above C3 or lower. Sherpas used it from C4 to high points to C4.
