First the team went to acclimatize by climbing Island Peak. Three members, Hiraide, Kawasaki and Kondo, plus three Sherpas summited at 25 April while one member, Kusunoki, dropped out of the expedition that day and did not go to Everest with the others because of a throat infection.

The remaining three members, who had summited Island Peak on 25 April, went to the top of Everest on 26 May. The summit party, Hiraide, Kawasaki and Kondo, plus Sherpas Cheppa, Da Tendi and Phurba Chhiri, left C4 for the summit at 2:00 am and all were on the top 12 hours later at 2:00 pm. They were back in C4 at 5:00 pm. The next day they went to BC.

The three members used oxygen in C3 to the top to C1; their Sherpas used it in C4 to the summit to C2.
