23 Oct Hunziker tired and hungry on beautiful day and said he would not return over this glacier again; so climb finished with having done no more than high-altitude trek to point east of Pt 6600m on eastern side of glacier. Hunziker and Edenhofer were clients of Joos. Edenhofer had not planned to go above BC. Joos made no attempt to climb alone because of his responsibilities as client's guide.
