원정 개요

After having climbed Everest on 17th May, Weidlich and Dawa Tshering descended to C2 on 18th May. They stayed there for four days. On 22nd May, Dawa Tshering and Wiedlich ascended to C3 and to C4 of Lhotse on 23rd of May.

They left C4 at 5:10 am on 24th May. It was snowing and very warm. The snow conditions were not good and the ropes had not been fixed. When they got to their high point at 8218m at 8:15 am, they decided to turn back due to lack of rope and bad snow conditions. They descended to C4, took it down and then they carried on to C2, where they arrived at about 3:30 pm. On 25th May to BC.
