BC at CBC/midcamp on 11 September at 5600m.

Artinopoulos and Segers left C3 at 00:30 hours NST on 1 Oct for their summit bid. When they reached 7700m at about 2 am, wind started picking up and also started snowfall. They turned around to C3 slept there. Next day 2 Oct they descended to ABC. The team of two climbers returned to Kathmandu on 6 Oct and to leave on 11 Oct along with the leader because the Chinese border authority found in his luggage objectionable matter [and thus was denied entry to Tibet]. Remaining two members chose no leader between them.
