C3 on NE Ridge
C4 on NE Ridge.
From C4 on 5th Oct at 6:30 am to summit, which reached 1:30 pm in weather clear and cold and little wind; not so difficult technically except below C1 where many crevasses. Ridge averages 45 degrees and fixed 500m rope on ridge and Swiss put another 500m on ridge and other teams more in crevasse section. Other 3 members not to summit because not in good health. 5th Oct bid was 2nd one; 1st bid all 5 members and sirdar C4 1-2 Oct, but wind too strong and descended. 5th Oct summiters rested 1 day in C3 and up again.
