On 29 April Ms Lundgren and Romero climbed up to 7200m and gave up. The snow conditions were not suitable for climbing; it was mixed fresh ice, crystal ice and blue ice. Actually the trip was a preparation for Romero's son, Jordan, to climb Everest next year. Jordan is 13 years old and wanted to be the youngest 7-summits summiter (only 3 summits left including Everest).

The team returned to Kathmandu on 3 or 4 May. Romero said that they are not going back to the Khumbu Icefall. Jordan will try from north side.

Fixed rope: 200m from 7000m to 7200m.
