Arias left C4 at 3:30 am. He was climbing on his own but met Dujmovits team on way up. He spent about 10 minutes on summit where he met Hirotaka Takeuchi of Dujmovits team. He descended to C4 and arrived at 6 pm. On 21 May to C2, which he had to dismantle and carry down. He hired a Sherpa to help him. He descended to BC on 22 May.

Arias Sherpa, who he had hired at beginning of expedition, had left him when he went down to Lobuche from 12 May to 15 May. For this reason he had to work on mountain between C3 and C4 on his own. He says it was the hardest thing he'd ever done.
