Adventure Guides Everest Expedition 2009 - 30 May 2009

All climbing members and five Sherpas left C4 for the top on 20 May. Arai left at 9:00 pm, while all the others left at 11:00 pm. Shinozaki summited at 7:30 am on the 21st, Arai at 9:45 am and the others after Arai until 10:15 am. They returned to C4 at about 3:00 pm, descended to C2 on the 22nd an were back in BC on the 23rd.

During the climb to the summit, each member was accompanied by a Sherpa: Da Tendi with Arai, Pasang Kaji with Honda, Phurba Chhiri with Kondo, Lama Babu with Shinozaki and Cheppa with Takata.

Kondo came down by snowboard from C2 to the top of the Icefall. Arai, Honda, Shinozaki and Takata skied from C2 to the Icefall.

Oxygen: during summit push, all members except Kondo in C2 on the 19th, and all five climbing members in C3 to the top to and in C4. All Sherpas in C4 to the top to and in C4.
