Leustean, Vid and Mingma Pemba left C3 at 2 am NST on 19 May. Leustean turned around from below the Yellow Band (about 7800m) due to exhaustion, Vid and Mingma Pemba reached summit at 8:30 am. They stayed on summit for 30 minutes. When they arrived on the plateau, they were confused and wondered which side to go. Finally after about an hour they found the summit where they found prayer flags. Had nice view of Everest and nice pictures. Vid and Mingma descended to C3 between 12-1 pm, slept there for 2 hours then continued to C2 where they slept the night. Next day to ABC. Summit day weather was perfect, little windy, no clouds and not cold. The team returned to Kathmandu on 24 May and will leave for India on 9 June.
