Satoh and Yokoyama started their climbing in alpine style from ABC. The climbers bivouaked at 6200m on 26 Oct and bivouacked at 6500m on 27 Oct. They climbed up to 6600m, route became steep below 200m from the summit and also there were overhangs. Their stove did not work at 6500m and they were out of food and water. Then descended to ABC. Weather during the ascent was very good, mostly clear sky and not so cold. Yokoyama said that one American climber summited from left side of the North Face. The team returned to Kathmandu on 3 Nov, visited Pokhara. Returned from Pokhara on 14 and will leave on 15 Nov.
