Koren and Pasang Lama left C3 at 6 am, reached summit at 12 noon on 13 Nov, stayed on summit between 15-20 minutes, descended to C3 at around 2:30 pm. Next day to BC. Koren wrote in his email that he climbed two vertical sections barefoot. The weather on summit day was clear and blue sky but for few hours while going up it was windy. He wrote that while descending from summit Koren and Bhote met one climber from England and another one from Ireland near the Dablam. Koren met the two climbers again in C2 the day after and they told Koren they did go to summit. Koren returned to Kathmandu on 18 Nov and left on 20 Nov.
