Kurdt and Reckord left C3 at 10:50 pm. On 2 Oct after a member of the nearby field touring group had called them from his tent and asked them whether they could take oxygen to above yellow band, where Stuart Remensnyder (leader) had a client, Guy Laville, who was in trouble. Kurdt and Reckord took an oxygen bottle up to the pair and helped Stuart to warm up Laville and give him oxygen. At that point Stuart, who had summited on his own, had turned around his client and they were on his way down. In the meantime, rest of summit team had left C3 at 00:50 am. Weather was cold but calm. They caught up with Kurdt and Reckord at 5:30 am at 7600m, summited together at 7 am. Clear views of Everest and Pumori. They spent 40 minutes on summit and descended together. On way down they met Miha Valic, who was on his way up and looked strong. Summit team arrived at C2 at 12:50 pm. On 4 Oct descent to ABC.

Rimai reached 6550m at just below ice cliff on 16 Sept; she turned back and descended to ABC the same day as she was not feeling well; she left BC on 23 Sept.

Rice reached interim camp on 7 Sept; he left expedition on 9 Sept due to lack of fitness.
