High point team left C2 at 4 am. Weather was misty. It cleared at about 7:30 am. They reached 6950m at about 10 am. They decided to turn back below the "mushroom" as the snow was too soft and they could not put any security in. They thought it was too dangerous and descended to C2. Arrived at 1 pm. On 7 Oct they descended to BC. They walked out via Amphu Laptsa.

Dumont reached C1 on 1 Oct. When he was at BC he rang his family and had to go back due to problems.
