C1 at West Col.

Team left C2 on 22 Sept at 9 am. Weather was cloudy, snow was deep. They had to cross two crevasses. They arrived at C2 at 2 pm. They stayed there for five nights. The weather was very bad (snowfall and clouds) and they did not move for the whole time. On 27 Sept the weather cleared and team set out to go for summit, but Booker did not think the conditions were within her abilities and she got scared. Barnes, as her guide, turned back with her and so did Nima and Dawa. They descended to BC.

Rested there on 28 Sept and camped below Amphu Laptsa on 29 Sept. They crossed pass on 30 Sept.
