원정 개요
Knepper, Staartjes, Van Veen, Wesselius, Lhakpa Nuru and Nuru Gyalzen left C4 at 2 am on 13 May. Knepper and Van Veen turned around from 7500m to C4 at 3 am due to excessive cold. Staartjes and Wesselius and two Sherpas reached 7700m at 4:15 am and had to turn around to C4 at 4:45 am.
They were exhausted due to late arrival to C4 (5 pm). There was not enough rest time. Next day all members and Sherpas to BC. There were two Australians, five Germans, one Spanish, three Colombians, all of them turned around to C2.
The team returned Kathmandu on 24 May. Knepper will leave on 27 May and rest of members on 29 May.
Fixed rope: 200m between C1 to C2.
