On 6 May Ms Shimada, Man Bahadur and Lobsang wanted to go to C3 from C2. They reached 6700m. Then started snow falling, it was not possible for the team to continue climbing and turned around to C2. Descended to BC on 8 May. The team returned to Kathmandu on 14 May and will leave on 5 June.

The team had problems while going to BC from Marpha. Porters came from Pokhara on 29 March, carried loads to Yak Kharka and refused to go beyond due to deep snow. Returned to Marpha on 1 April. Another lot of porters started from Marpha on 13 April to Yak Kharka. They too refused to go beyond, then returned to Marpha on 14. Finally the team managed to get helicopter on 21 April.

Fixed rope: 7000m above C2.
