Manfroi wrote in his email reply that he left C2 at 2 am NST on 1 Oct. He followed three Sherpas of Thamserku expedition and reached summit at 1 pm. Manfroi stayed on summit for one hour. He had a very beautiful landscape in front of him: Everest, Lhotse and Nuptse (magical). The summit weather was absolutely no clouds and no wind. Manfroi wrote that he was lucky. He descended to C2 at 6 pm and day to ABC.

Manfroi wrote in his eamil that during his climbing he met some people coming down but he did not talk to them as they had their oxygen mask on. Manfroi further wrote that he had frostbite in his right hand during acclimatization on 18 Sept. After leaving C2 alone, he had to stop because his gloves were humid. A Sherpa saw him and helped him by rubbing Manfroi's hands and gave his gloves to Manfroi and saved his fingers.

Manfroi returned Kathmandu on 5 Oct and left on 7 Oct.
