High point team left C2 at 5 am on 26 Oct. Weather was good, conditions perfect. They reached high point at noon. They looked at the mushroom and decided that it was too dangerous to climb as the snow seemed too soft to climb and there was no fixed rope. They descended to C1, where they arrived at 4 pm. The next day they descended to Sherpani Col and walked out towards Makalu BC.

Laroche and Jespers reached C2 on 25 Oct. Neither of them could sleep, so they descended on 26 Oct to C1 where they waited for others.

Group walked out via Tumlingtar.
