Ito, Matsui, Matsushima, Miyashita, Obata, Lhakpa Pasang and Gelbu left C3 at 6:30 am on 24 Oct. Ito, Miyashita, Obata, Lhakpa and Gelbu summited at 10:30 am, stayed on summit 20 minutes, then descended to C2 at 3 pm. Next day to BC. Matsui had to turn around with Pasang from 6450m to C2 because of his eye (left) sight problem. Matsushima was very slow; she reached at 6600m at 11 am, but there was not enough time for her to continue climbing, so she descended to C2 with three summiters. Summit day was clear sky, no wind but very cold, maybe -20 degrees. While descending the summit team passed about 4/5 Italians and one Sherpa at 6400m. But Miyashita does not know if they had reached the summit. Miyashita said his team put C3 at mushroom ridge and was safe, no danger of icefall.

The team returned Kathmandu on 29 Oct from Tengboche by helicopter and will leave on 2 November. Miyashita is thinking to climb in the Annapurna area next year.
