Arias left ABC on 2 Oct at 0:15 am NST, reached C2 at 4:30 am, changed clothes and stayed about two hours. Reached C2 at 10 am, had rest for 3 hours; reached C3 at 2:45 pm, had chat with Basque member for about 30 minutes. Arias did not put his own camp at C3. Reached summit at 11:15 pm NST 2 Oct. Stayed on summit about 45 minutes, descended to C3 at 2:45 am and slept in Italian expedition's tent. Next day to ABC where he reached at about 4:45 pm. Weather on summit was clear, no wind but very cold. Arias saw clear view of Everest-Lhotse. Before Arias there were about six people with oxygen on summit. They were Korean or Chinese (Oriental). Others summited on that day were French ski team (2 or 3 members), another 2 French, two Croatian girls (one with oxygen, one without) and a few others.

Arias returned Kathmandu on 8 Oct and probably will leave on 12th.
