Hidalgo left C2 at 1 am on 9 Oct. Between C2 and C3 the waterbag which he was carrying inside his down jacket broke and his clothes got wet. He went into an empty tent at C3 and tried to warm up but clothes were frozen. After about 1 hour at 4:30 am he decided to descend to C2, where he changed his clothes. He arrived at C2 at 5:30 am and lay in sleeping bag to warm up. He slept till 8 am got up and left again for summit at 9:30 am. He got to summit very late at 5:30 pm, spent 10 minutes there and descended to C2 in the dark. He arrived at 9:30 pm. Next day to ABC.

On 14 Oct Hidalgo wanted to speed ascend from ABC to summit but it was too cold and windy so he turned back at 7000m.
