Team left C2 at 9:30 am (NST) on 28 Sept. Weather was very bad and very windy (about 70 mph) at about 3:30 pm. They turned back to C2, where they arrived at 4:30 pm. Team stayed there apart from Shelton-Smith who descended to ABC. Rest of team cleared C2 and C1 on 29 Sept and descended to ABC. On 1 Oct both Sherpas ascended to C3 to retrieve 12 oxygen bottles they had deposited. On 21 Sept it took them 12 hours round-trip.
