Left C2 for summit with 4 Italians (Andreatta, Modolo, Tonidandel, and Sebastian) with whom he did much of his climbing (they met in Kathmandu for the first time). They left at 10:45 pm NST 22 Sept and Campos on top 1:00 pm 23 Sept (Italians before him). Saw Everest and Lhotse very clearly. Campos returned to C2 at 8:30 pm (with Tonidandel) and spent that night in C2; it was windy and snow fell during the night. 24th Campos opened the route to ABC to first serac.
