Buchet left C2 at midnight with Diego Fregona from Italy. It was cold and windy. They reached C3 at 2 am. Fregona had very cold feet. They were massaging his feet and at about 5:30 am Buchet carried on. He got to top at 1 pm and was on his own. He saw Everest and showed me pictures. He stayed on summit for about 45 minutes and when he descended he met Fregona who was on his way up. Buchet descended to C2, where he arrived at 4:45 pm. Next day he descended to ABC.
