Easy climb. Took more direct route from C2 to C3. 2 climbed very quickly, were very strong and Japanese Sherpas had made route and were lucky that winds had abated when French ready to try for top. Reached 1st summit they came to which in clear weather proved not to be highest.
Left BC 30 Sept; left quickly because of frostbite.
