Pulkrabek went up to C1 on 28 Sept, slept two nights there hoping for good weather but it remained bad. The upper rods holding his tent were broken by the strong wind although the tent was new and made for such extreme weather conditions. About eleven tents were damaged in C1 and 3 tents were blown away. There was about a meter deep snow. Pulkrabek returned to ABC on 30 Sept. He returned to Kathmandu on 3 Oct and will leave for Ama Dablam on 7 Oct.
