After 13 Sept weather was very bad for two weeks. Between 50-60% of C2 was destroyed by snowfall and wind. Early morning of 23 Sept was good weather and Gaucys left ABC for C1 where he stayed for two nights. Weather was agdain bad. There was not any possibility to go beyond C1 alone. On 25 Sept Gaucys returned to ABC. He left ABC on 29 Sept and arrived Kathmandu on 1 Oct. Gaucys will leave Kathmandu on 3 Oct. Gaucys said when he left ABC, no Sherpas could go to C2 due to chest deep snow.

Two other members Jonaitis and Uzdauinys left ABC on 26 Sept and arrived Kathmandu on 27 Sept. They will leave Kathmandu on 9 Oct.
