Cross left C4 at 3 am with Nawang Tenzing Sherpa, Blair Falahey and Palden Namgye. Cross led up to 8100m, but then he stopped due to cold feet. Nawang, Falahey and Palden carried on to summit and arrived there at 11 am.
Cross did not like snow conditions; it was to sugary. He descended to C4, thawed his feet and carried on to C2 and arrived at 2 pm.
Nawang Tenzing summited with Falahey and Palden. On way down they saw Mrs Pemba Doma slip. The other Sherpa climber who was with Pemba Doma, managed to stop. Falahey, Nawang and Palden helped him down to C4 and arrived at 5 pm.
