American Everest expedition led by Daniel Mazur, Spring 2007 - 3 June 2007

Summit party of Schuck and Lhakpa Gelu left C4 for the summit at 9:00 pm on 21 May and reached the top at 8:30 am on the 22nd. They returned to C4 for the night.

Non-summiting members:

Burke left C4 for the top with a Sherpa at 9:30 pm on 20 May and climbed above the Balcony, then decided he had to turn back because he was tired, could not climb rapidly and did not have enough time to reach the summit and return safely to C4, so down to C4.

Luscher developed a serious stomach problem on 26 April on C1, went up to C3 nevertheless, but then left the expedition on 17 May.

Mazur was team leader, but was on his own Lhotse expedition and did not attempt to summit Everest.

Oxygen: members used it in C3 to high points to C2, Sherpas in C4 to high point to C4.
