C1 at site usually used by 2 climbers (mostly by leader as his ABC)
C3 at top Dutch Rib
Biv on col between middle and main summits.

Started from BC 19th to C2 but camp broken so to C1 and then 20th up to C3. 21st made 1st of 3 bivouacs; left 24th at 10 am and on summit 1 hour later. Very windy so footprints blown quickly away; 1 hour on top then descended to 7300m. 25th down to C1 descending in dark to reach C1; BC on 26th morning. Cherny left BC 28th because slight frostbite fingers and wanted lower altitude; other 2 left BC 30th with porters.

Saw no sign whatsoever of Denamur; found no new ice ax, no rucksack, no body, nothing; any track blown quickly (2-3 hrs). On 20th and 21st very clear and from C1 leader and Arsentiev's US girl friend watching with binoculars high on mountain and they saw no one.
