Team left C1 at 6:30 am in the morning [16 May]. Weather was good but there was new snow on the ground. They got to C2 at midday. It had started snowing in the afternoon. They wanted to push for summit from C2 but they thought it was impossible in these conditions. Too much snow and it would have taken too long. They left C2 in morning to descend to C1 on 17 May. Stayed one night in C1, where it was raining!! They descended to BC 18 May.
