Calise, Challeat, Genevois, Maurel, Millet, Monet, Priez, Pemba Sherpa, Lal Singh Tamang and Tibetan Sherpa Tsering left C3 at 05:00 hours (CST) on 1 Oct for summit. Challeat, Maurel, Pemba and Lal Singh Tamang summited at 10:00 hours (07:45 NST), Genevois and Priez summited at 11:00 hours (08:45 NST), and Monet and Tsering (Tibetan) reached summit at 12:00 hours (09:45 NST). The first summiting team stayed on summit 45 minutes, descended to C2 at 15:00 hours. Rest of the members arrived C2 around 16:00 hours. Next day to ABC. Weather was perfect, cold but no wind. All the members saw good view of Everest and surrounding mountains. Ahead of Challet team were Swiss team and American team and many other climbers. On that day may be 50-60 people summited, many of them with oxygen.

Calise and Millet turned around from 7600m due to excessive cold.
Blazer went up to C2 on 18 Sept and gave up further climb; he was very tired.
Charbonnel was exhausted and could not go beyond C1.
Cimetta couple climbed up to C3; they were exhausted and gave up climbing.
Destot, Hamdjian and Mercadie left ABC on 29 Sept. They were up waiting for
weather to improve. They left Kathmandu on 1 Oct.
Gallia climbed up to 7400m, was very tired and did not attempt again.
Jardret went up to C2, became exhausted then gave up.

The team returned to Kathmandu on 5 Oct and will leave on 7 Oct.
