BC at CBC/IC on 8 Sept at 5300m

Neacsu, Tzecu and Torok left C2 at 01:45 hours NST of 2 Oct. Torok turned around from the plateau because he was exhausted (Torok had tried very hard to summit alone on 29 Sept which was his birthday, but he had to retreat from 7600m due to deep snow). Tzecu summited at 16:15 hours and stayed on summit for about 15 minutes. Neacsu reached to summit at 16:30 hours and stayed on summit for just enough time to take pictures. Both members returned to C2 about 22:00 hours. Next day Tzecu descended to ABC and Neacsu slept at C1 due to cold. Both climbers had spectacular view of Everest and other mountains. Weather was good but cold and windy. Tzecu met on summit Pavle Kozjek from Slovenia who arrived at the summit a few minutes later from other route.

The team returned to Kathmandu on 6 Oct. Neacsu and Torok will leave on 9 Oct. Tzecu is waiting for his girl friend with whom he will visit Janakpur and to Darjeeling then to India.
