원정 개요
Rai and Thapa left C3 at 22:00 hours (NST) of 14 May. Rai summited at 06:40 hours of 15 May, stayed on the summit about 25 minutes, then descended to C3 at about 16:00-17:00 hours. Rai met Dorje Katri, Kame, Lhakpa and Nima Sherpa of Turkish expedition followed by Turkish woman while descending.
Rai's co-climber Thapa had to turn around to C3 from about 8600m as he suffered pulmonary edema and also had problem with oxygen.
Both Rai and Thapa returned to Kathmandu on 20 May.
