BC at CBC/IC on 17 Sept.

On Oct 6 Kovelj left C2 at 06:30 hours (NST), reached summit at 13:15 hours, stayed on summit 5 minutes, descended to C1 at 18:00 hours. Kovelj was the last one to summit on that day. He saw Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Shishapangma. Weather was clear but windy may be 60-80 km/hr. Saw on the summit oxygen cylinder, one pole with flag, prayer flags.

On Oct 8 Karnicnik and Rauter left C3 at 08:00 hours (NST), summited at 16:00 hours, stayed for 15 minutes, descended to C3 at 20:00 hours. Summit was clear, saw oxygen cyclinders, prayer flags. It was very windy, saw Shishapagma but Everest side was covered with clouds. Pawel Michalski (Poland) summited with Karnicnik and Rauter. Another Italian climber Marabotto who shared the Slovenian tent at C3 also left C3 at the same time, but he had to turn around from 8000m due to exhaustion.

The Slovenian team returned to Kathmandu on Oct 12 and trying to leave on Oct 16.
