BC at Bhatchuk Glacier
ABC further up (4 hours) Bhatchuk Glacier
C1 at base of Saribung on Bhatchuk Glacier.
Followed USA route (Ackroyd) basically to top. Left C1 7:30 am, late team because still snowing from early morning, then snow stopped, sun came out and no avalanching, so went to try for top. On top at 12:00 noon. Crevasses filled up by snow and easy to negotiate. 20th in BC.
Climbed from C1: avoided crevasses to right, then to col at 6042m and from col up NE Ridge. On return, used ponies to cross Layla Khola.
