Summit team (and Mario Panzeri, Daniele Bernasconi, Mario Vielmo from other teams) left C3 at 4 am. Conditions were difficult, a lot of snow, they had to break trail. Benedetti and Temba Wangdi Sherpa arrived at summit at 4 pm; Giovanetti arrived at 6 pm with Mario Vielmo. Benedetti and Sherpa arrived back at C3 at 9 pm. Giovanetti got back at 3 am on 25 May; he was very slow as he was on his own and it was very dark. But Weather was calm and clear.
De Leo got to C3 on 23 May. He abandoned climb as he was exhausted. Returned to ABC on 24 May on 24 May.
Sala also got to C3 on 23 May, but abandoned climb due to fatigue. He'd been having stomach problems for 2 weeks.
