Calleja and Tshering Wangchu left C4 at 2 am. They teamed up with Dawa Chhiri Sherpa from Phurte/Thamo, who was working for a Norwegian Expedition. Calleja and Dawa Chhiri were quicker than Tshering Wangchu Sherpa so they left him at about 8250m. Calleja did not want to use oxygen but was forced to as it was very cold and windy (about 130 km/h). Calleja and Dawa Chhiri summited together and stayed about 30 minutes on the summit.

Even though it was very cloudy, the clouds lifted occasionally and Calleja could take pictures on their descent. They met Tshering Wangchu Sherpa at 8400m on his way up. Calleja and Dawa Chhiri arrived at C4 at 8:30 am. Tshering Wangchu arrived at 9:30 am; he had very cold hands and feet and remained in C4 for a while with Dawa Chhiri before they descended to C2 together.

Calleja left C4 at 9:45 am, descended to C2 where he had some soup and carried on to base camp, where he arrived at 5:50 pm.

He thinks that he is the first person to have C4->summit->BC in the 15 hours 50 minutes.

Calleja and Tshering Wangchu climbed alpine-style until 100m below the summit, where they fixed 100m of rope.
