Dash and Sherpas left C3 at 6 am and arrived at 7900m at C4 at 4 pm. She wanted to stay the night and go for the summit but the Sherpas refused to stay the night and go for the summit. But Sherpas refused to take her up and said she was too sick. She was very angry about it when she spoke to me. They descended to C3, where they arrived at 7 pm.

An Austrian climber, Ronald Mattle, who was attempting to climb Lhotse saw Dash on her descent between C2 and C3. He said she was extremely tired and sick; she was throwing up. Mattle thought the Sherpas were right to turn her back.
