Colleoni and Dawa Sherpa left C3 at 3:15 am Nepali time. The weather was clear and not windy. They spent about 30 minutes on the summit. Good views of Everest. After the summit they descended to C2, where they arrived at 4 pm Nepali time.

Capelli got to 6900m where she and Colleoni put up a camp on 1 May (just above the ice wall on the plateau). They both spent the night there and descended to C1 the next day and to BC on 3 May. Capelli did not go back up after this as she felt too weak. She stayed at BC and waited for Colleoni.
