1 May down to BC to rest and 3 May to C1. 4 May to 6450m to pitch tent and 5 May moved tent to C2. 6 May to BC. Now bad weather with daily snowfall and finally started up again: 17 May to C1, 18 to C2 site but tent disappeared completely. Why disappeared? maybe wind and snow together and snow face of snow now very hard, like ice, so impossible to dig in it, so down to C1 and 19 May to BC. Climb finished with loss of equipment.

Maoists charged expedition Rs 52,000 on approach to BC: Rs 100 per member per day, 75 days on climbing permit and 7 members on permit (5 others are different teams).
